Council approves first reading of PUD amendment, tables downtown CPD revision

Staff (speaker 9) noted the planning consultant provided redline language and that the draft aims to make impact assessments more objective. Council suggested convening a committee to review language before sending the document on to the planning commission and scheduled follow-up work and committee review between readings.
The first-reading motion passed on a recorded roll-call vote; the CPD item was tabled by separate vote.
