Brentwood commissioners approve consent agenda; staff updates Vanderbilt lease, Windy Hill Park opening

City staff said the medical uses for the leased property have not been disclosed and that no permit application has been filed. The speaker said the property is zoned C1, which generally allows medical-office uses, but that site-specific requirements — such as parking, traffic analysis, lighting, landscaping and drainage — will be evaluated once the city receives a permit submittal.
Staff also reminded residents of two community events: a fire-and-rescue blood drive supporting the American Red Cross (10 a.m.–2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 23, City Hall Annex) and the Windy Hill Park grand opening (Saturday, Dec. 13 at 10 a.m.). Commissioners encouraged residents to attend and noted holiday programming hosted by library staff.
The consent agenda listed multiple resolutions and approvals (Res. 2025-86 through Res. 2025-92) ranging from vendor procurement and service agreements to equipment purchases and the cancellation of a December meeting. Commissioner Travis moved to approve the consent agenda and the motion carried unanimously.
During public comment, Parker Price thanked officers and described a recent police- and fire-department visit, saying, "My favorite thing about the police station was seeing all the rooms and where they got to collect the evidence." The meeting closed after a brief new-business information item about future historic-region appointments and an adjournment vote.
