Detective Brent Rousey honored and promoted at Brentwood meeting

Sean Groves, who was introduced by the presiding official earlier in the meeting, also came forward with family members to be recognized during the ceremony.
Commissioner Travis offered congratulations to ‘‘detectives Groves and Rousey,’’ saying the city is fortunate to have the officers on staff.
The brief recognition was ceremonial; no formal vote or personnel action beyond the announcement was recorded during the meeting. The commission then proceeded to its regular agenda.
