Planning department staff member Navetti told the council the planning commission had reviewed the proposal and recommended approval after a public hearing. "What we're considering here is a couple of changes to the future land use map," Navetti said, describing a hatched area around the airport that would be designated for future manufacturing and an expansion of large-lot rural residential near the East Lakes.
