The Grand Island City Council on Feb. 10 approved Resolution 2026‑36 granting a Class C liquor license to TATA Hospitality Inc., doing business as the new Hampton Inn at 341 Innate Lane.
Deputy city clerk Sonia Cisneros told the council the application was filed Jan. 14 and public notice published Jan. 31; departmental reports recommended approval subject to a final inspection. Luke Simpson, attorney for the applicant, said the franchise requires a liquor license and that the proposed operation would be consistent with the city's other hotel licenses.
Council member Hassey moved to approve the resolution; the motion was seconded and the council adopted the motion. The resolution approval is conditioned on a final inspection, per the staff recommendation.
