Woodland Park City Council voted unanimously March 5 to approve a hotel and restaurant liquor license for Vista Lounge at 19251 East U.S. Highway 24, Suite A in Woodland Park.
Applicant Jaden Lopez told the council he lives in Woodland Park and plans to open a bistro featuring craft drinks and food, including mocktails. Council opened a public hearing and, with no public comments, a council member moved to approve the license; the motion passed unanimously.
The council also approved the consent calendar (minutes and January expenditures) earlier in the meeting by unanimous vote. The council chair congratulated the applicant and wished him luck with the venture.
The license approval and consent vote were routine and passed without condition or amendment at the March 5 meeting.
