HUNTSVILLE — The Huntsville City Council on Nov. 6 approved three ordinances to convey city‑owned parcels for a large retail development the administration calls North Village Town Center.
Councilmembers voted to declare parcels surplus and authorize sales to Home Depot USA (21A), API Huntsville LLC for a Target development (21B), and Express Oil Change LLC (21C), clearing the way for a Phase 1 retail center the city projects will include more than 500,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space and roughly $240 million in private investment.
