Council approves routine licenses, contracts and PAPS 59 survey maps

Oconomowoc ' The Oconomowoc Common Council on Feb. 17 approved a package of routine and committee items, including a retail-license correction for Steelhead Ale Works LLC, a one-year, $19,900 extension of a cross-connection-control inspection contract, and two certified survey maps related to the Paps 59 innovation/incubation area.

Licensing and utilities: The protection & welfare committee had recommended granting Steelhead Ale Works a full-service retail sales license (beer, alcohol and wine) to correct a premise description; the council approved the license. Utility staff requested and the council approved a one-year extension of the commercial cross-connection-control inspection contract (budgeted at $19,900), with staff explaining the extension provides flexibility to re-negotiate terms next year.

Paps 59 CSMs: The council approved two certified survey maps from Nicholas Family of Companies to subdivide the innovation/incubation area. The developer (Chris Coleman) said the CSMs were intended to provide flexibility for future parcel ownership; council members asked that recorded restrictions on the CSM preserve architectural standards and allowed uses. Staff confirmed those restrictions will be recorded on the CSMs.

Procedural items: The council also approved minutes from the Feb. 3 meeting and moved several consent items forward without substantive discussion.
