At a Waukesha City meeting, members approved gallery exhibit applications that will populate the venue calendar from January through October.
A staff member reviewed applicants and proposed months, citing Danalexah Art Centers for January–February, the Pewaukee Area Arts Council for March–April, a Carroll University alumni group for June–July, returning artists John Klug and Jane Cappelletti for individual months, and John Yost for September–October. "So basically starting in January, all the way through October for the cycle," the staff member said.
The chair moved to accept the applications: "I move that we accept the application." The motion was seconded; a voice vote was recorded with "Aye" responses and the chair stated the motion passed. The transcript records the motion and the outcome but does not provide individual vote counts.
The staff member noted some openings could be filled at a later meeting if applicants were not ready at this session and that an existing hallway art inventory will continue to be displayed.
Action recorded: the meeting approved the gallery exhibit applications and directed staff to proceed with scheduling and coordination with accepted artists.
