The Waukesha Board of Public Works approved Amendment No. 1 to its contract with MSA Professional Services at the Jan. 8 meeting, updating MSA’s 2026 staff hourly rates used for private development review and engineering support.
A staff presenter said the city contracted with MSA for 2025 private development review work and that a high percentage of MSA’s work is billed back to developers; the amendment would revise staff rates for 2026 while leaving all other contract terms unchanged. "That contract is still active. It does not have, necessarily an expiration date unless we mutually agree to end that contract," the staff member said.
The board moved, seconded and approved the amendment on a voice vote. Staff noted Josh, the primary MSA contact, was present if members had questions; none were raised that changed the decision.
