Board members asked whether the agenda packet specified a lease amount; Leslie replied the lease is a fixed payment into that account rather than a percentage cost share, and the dedicated fund will be used for future roof, HVAC and other major maintenance needs.
The Chair opened public comment on the lease; no one came forward. The board voted by voice to approve the lease extension.
Next steps: staff will execute the updated lease, establish the dedicated maintenance fund and begin collecting lease payments per the agreement; the board did not specify a dollar amount for the lease in the meeting record.
