Board grants first consideration to liquor license for Zenzi Den, Ballyhoo Hospitality

Brianne Carden, representing Value/Ballyhoo Hospitality and the proposed Zenzi Den, introduced herself to the board and said the concept is a Japanese‑inspired restaurant that will utilize a robotic grill and could open by the end of next month if licensing proceeds on schedule.
Board members asked no substantive questions and moved to approve first consideration; the chair indicated issuance of liquor licenses remains subject to the board’s advice and consent process and additional approvals where required.
The matter passed first consideration and will return for subsequent actions required under village ordinance and licensing rules.
