The speaker said raw materials for the project have already arrived and thanked the service crew for their work on a recent water-service line break.
The fire department announced a guided, structured tour of the existing fire station on Saturday, March 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., intended to show residents why a new station is needed. The speaker said fire chief Ray and Captain Price will participate and that the tour will include explanation of operational needs, not merely an open house.
Council members thanked new appointee Patebeam and staff for the reports. No formal vote was required for the informational items beyond the appointment approval recorded by roll call.
