City staff presented Round Rock's 2024-25 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) during a public hearing Dec. 4, 2025.
The presenter said the city's CDBG allocation for the year was $642,233. On the social-services side, $96,334 of CDBG funds were awarded to the Round Rock Area Serving Center for rent and mortgage assistance and its food pantry; funds also supported Meals on Wheels and the Child Advocacy program. Staff reported 1,158 families were served through CDBG-funded public services. In addition to the federal CDBG dollars, staff said the city contributed an extra $250,000 from the general fund to local nonprofits that deliver services.
The council opened the public hearing and invited testimony; no members of the public spoke. The hearing was closed and the item concluded with staff standing by for follow-up questions.
