Ridgeview parking, playground fixes and new programs headline staff updates

Dalton described new and returning programs — jujitsu, spin classes with newly purchased spin bikes, and a Tumbler Tots program for ages 0–5 that meets at 9 a.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays with a $5 per child fee — and said staff are watching overall center usage and revenues after a short closure for freeze preparations.
Board members praised parks staff and volunteers for recent events, noting the Missouri City Green tree‑planting (115 trees) and the parks crew’s decision to keep restrooms available for volunteers despite freeze preparations. No votes on project funding or contract awards were recorded at the meeting.
