The Jackson Town Council on Jan. 5 approved Subdivision Plat P25-204 for the Teton Landing townhomes, allowing three existing lots (8, 10 and 12) to be split into six lots. Planning staff told council the parcel is in a neighborhood medium-density zone that allows townhomes and that the subdivision is consistent with previous approvals and the LDRs; permits for the existing duplex construction were issued in 2023.
Planning staff recommended approval with one standard condition related to parking and school‑related actions; staff noted the subdivision will not create immediate physical development beyond recording the plat and that the private road and maintenance remain the owner’s responsibility.
Applicant representative John Wareham answered council questions and offered to provide additional details if needed. Councilor (Speaker 8) moved to approve the plat based on staff findings and conditions; the motion passed unanimously.
The council’s approval allows the applicant to proceed with recording the plat and follow-up permitting as required by town code.
