Near the end of the Jan. 20 work session, Councilor [speaker 7] moved that the council receive recommendations from the Planning and Zoning Commission (Jan. 6, 2026) pursuant to the Local Land Use Planning Act; the motion was seconded and carried. The clerk recorded affirmative responses and the mayor declared the motion carries.
Immediately afterward, a motion to move into an executive session pursuant to Idaho Code 74‑206(1)(f) (to consult with legal counsel about [imminently likely] litigation) was made and seconded; the council voted in favor and the motion carried. Council entered executive session to confer with legal counsel as allowed by state law.
These formal actions concluded the public portion of the work session.
