Jackson council approves 81 annual liquor-license renewals for 2026-27

The Jackson Town Council voted Feb. 2 to approve annual liquor-license renewals for the 2026-27 year after a staff presentation on the renewal process.
Lindsay Lineman of Internal Services briefed the council on the licensing calendar and review process, explaining the town received 81 renewal applications this year and that one previous license holder, Fiesta Jackson LLC, closed and did not apply. "This year, we had 81 applications for renewal," Lineman said, describing how staff compiles applications, works through corrections and forwards materials to the Wyoming Liquor Division for review.
Staff asked whether council wished to approve all 81 renewals as presented. A council member moved to approve the renewals "for the 2026-27 liquor license year as presented" under the conditions noted in the staff report, incorporating statutory review under Wyoming statute noted in the motion. The council voted in favor and the motion passed unanimously.
The renewals are subject to the same conditions and restrictions as the initial license approvals and to minor corrections the town and Wyoming Liquor Division may require before final issuance.
