Missouri City — The Missouri City Council presented a proclamation and thanked outgoing Councilmember Jeffrey L. Boney for his service from 2017 through 2025 during a Nov. 2025 special meeting.
Mayor Robin Alikat read the proclamation recognizing Boney’s years of service and expressing the council’s appreciation: "Now, therefore, I, Mayor Robin Alikat, on behalf of the City Council and the citizens of Missouri City, do hereby extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Jeffrey L. Boney." The proclamation noted Boney’s service on the council from 2017 to 2025.
Boney accepted the recognition and offered brief remarks to the council and attendees, saying in part, "This is my final time before you as your District B council member, and it's been my true and sincere honor to serve this great city over the last eight years." He thanked city staff, colleagues past and present, and constituents for their support.
After the presentation the mayor invited attendees to take photographs with the outgoing councilmember; the special meeting was then adjourned at 6:12 p.m. and the council planned to reconvene for its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m.
