Banks School District 13 board approves superintendent evaluation and passes consent agenda

At its March 9, 2026 meeting, the Banks School District 13 Board of Directors approved the consent agenda and, following earlier executive-session review, approved the superintendent's annual evaluation with board members reporting generally high marks.

The chair summarized the evaluation process and results, saying the board's adopted criteria produced ratings typically between threes and fours. "Bridal continues to, grade between that between a 3 and a 4, which are the highest marks that we can give them," the chair said while summarizing the board's alignment across evaluation categories. A board member moved to approve the superintendent evaluation as discussed in executive session; the motion was approved by voice vote with affirmative "Aye" responses recorded. Earlier in the meeting the board moved, seconded and passed the consent agenda by voice vote.

Board members used the closing portion of the meeting to remind the public that spring break and other calendar items are forthcoming, that the board will tour the construction site at the next meeting on April 13 (attendees should wear appropriate shoes), and that the annual SEI ethics filing is due April 15. The board also said it will convene the budget committee on May 14 and begin a "budget 101" review of proposed budgets.

What happens next: the superintendent evaluation is in effect as the board described and the board and staff will proceed with the announced calendar items; staff will notify board members about ethics filings and the construction-site tour.
