The Conestoga Valley Board approved a contract March 9 to proceed with an independent occupational therapy educational evaluation (IEE) after a parent requested the IEE and staff confirmed the request met the district’s policy parameters.
Miss Schaefer said the IEE contract complies with district procedure (referencing policy 113.3 for parent‑requested IEEs) and would allow the district to follow through with the independent evaluation. The board moved, seconded and approved the contract by voice vote.
Board discussion confirmed the district had already completed district OT work where appropriate and that the IEE would proceed under the contract as presented.
