Miss Schaefer explained that homebound instruction provides a limited number of hours per week and that continuing instruction past the 12‑week mark requires board approval because of attendance-reporting rules. She said the request meets required medical documentation and the district will continue the instruction for the remainder of the school year as needed.
A board member moved to approve the request; the motion was seconded and the board approved by voice vote.
