Petition to annex small parcel for Margaritaville redevelopment presented to Committee of the Whole

Godwin said the parcel is adjacent to Wolf Bay and will be the site for 12 villas as part of the broader Margaritaville project. She noted the piece was recently purchased and clarified its location relative to existing parcels. Councilors asked clarifying questions about the exact parcel, and staff confirmed the annexation request covers a small portion not previously in the city limits.
No formal annexation vote was recorded during the Committee of the Whole; the presentation served to inform council and the public and to identify next steps in the annexation process.
