Finance Director Alina Bell presented the voucher batch, listing other items that included a $50,091.78 monthly credit‑card statement, $57,418.74 to Madden Media for December tourism marketing, and $32,111.50 to OpenGov for the county’s annual budgeting‑software subscription. Bell said full reports were in the meeting packet and recommended paying all items in the batch.
A commissioner moved to approve the vouchers and related wire and interfund transfers; the motion noted that the OLRT (open‑lands) payment would be wired Jan. 30, 2026. The board voted to approve the motion.
The meeting packet and discussion show the $3,000,000 grant is intended to support the town’s purchase of roughly 105 acres as open space; closing and the wire to the title company are scheduled for Jan. 30, according to Bell. Community Development staff later presented a separate, related item approving an outright‑exemption subdivision that would allow the owners to retain a 10‑acre parcel while conveying the remaining acreage for open‑space purposes.
The vouchers approval followed questions from commissioners about OpenGov functionality and a brief explanation from Bell about plans to better use the system countywide. The board also authorized signature authority for a Public Health state tobacco prevention grant and approved authorization to sign a PayGround customer agreement for EMS billing (separate actions covered elsewhere in the meeting).
What’s next: The OLRT wire for the open‑space acquisition is scheduled for Jan. 30; staff will complete required documentation for the Vara family property subdivision conditions that the board approved.
