Treasurer Maureen Horton (S7) summarized the July report: staff is updating total-debt figures, delinquency spans were adjusted from earlier years to prepare older delinquencies for possible write-off, market depreciation affected investment accounts and changes to county credit-card processing affected deposits in transit. No public comment was offered.
A county clerk/staff member (S5) summarized the consent agenda, which included claims totaling $2,411,670.64 and multiple FY2026 agreements and amendments: FAA reimbursement signatures for airport projects; a Manhattan Trail System feasibility engineering extension; an asphalt overlay contract amendment ($166,316); FY2026 service agreements for senior centers, community nonprofits and food bank services (amounts ranging from $9,840 to $1,515,000); equipment purchases; and other routine items.
Commissioner (S4) moved to approve the consent agenda; Chair Boyer (S1) seconded, and the commission voted to approve the consent items and accept the treasurer's report.
