Glendora Unified board adopts bullying-prevention and administrator resolutions, approves roughly $6 million in consent items

Later the board adopted resolution 24-25-05 recognizing October 2024 as Week of the School Administrator, citing Education Code 44015.1 and the Association of California School Administrators; that resolution also passed unanimously.
The board approved the consent calendar items 7.1 through 10.2 in a single vote. Staff provided a breakdown of the consent amounts during the meeting: about $5,600,000 in general-consent approvals, roughly $44,000 for educational services, about $3,000 for item 9 and about $288,000 for item 10, totaling approximately $6,000,000 in expenditures. Trustee Elizabeth Reuter moved approval of the consent items and a second was recorded; the full slate passed 5-0.
Board members praised recent district events including Glendora High School's college and career fair, and noted upcoming community events such as a STEAM-lab ribbon cutting on Oct. 8 and the homecoming parade on Oct. 4. There was no substantive public debate on the resolutions or consent items during the meeting.
