County staff to revise purchasing policy and move meeting call-in to Teams

Staff (Speaker 4) said the manual will be revised with the board's direction and returned for formal adoption at the next meeting. "I'll just get with Roy and you all and tackle this and any particular verbiage you want to change, we'll change it," staff said when asked about edits.
Separately, IT/administrative staff recommended moving the meeting call-in and recording system from the county's free conference line to Microsoft Teams to obtain service-level guarantees and automated transcription. Staff said Teams is already in use on the county calendar and can auto-record; commissioners agreed to try Teams for the next meeting and to update the county web materials and announcements to reflect the new number.
