The Board of Education voted Feb. 10 to enter a closed session to discuss appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees; student discipline and individual student matters; purchase, sale, or lease of real property; probable imminent or pending litigation; collective negotiations; and school safety. A clerk read the closed-session purposes as listed in the Feb. 10 board agenda packet before the motion.
The motion to go into closed session was seconded and approved by roll call. During the roll call the clerk recorded affirmative votes from members named in the packet; the clerk announced the board moved into closed session at the conclusion of the roll call.
