The motion to approve Broussard’s employment was recorded as made by Greg, seconded by Derek, and carried unanimously.
Board members also reported approval of Catherine (Kate) Jackson as assistant principal at San Dimas High School and the employment of Megan (assistant principal, Ramona Middle School). Those actions were reported as motions made by Britney with seconds by Chris Ann and unanimous votes in closed session.
A board speaker read biographical details for each appointee. The announcement for Dr. Kendra Peterson Broussard noted roughly 19 years in administration, prior work as a middle school teacher and recruitment specialist, service as a site administrator, most recently serving as director of human resources overseeing certificated and classified personnel programs, and academic credentials including degrees from the University of Illinois Chicago, Cal State LA and a doctorate in leadership from USC. District staff welcomed the new appointees at the meeting.
