The Rowland Unified School District Board of Education on Jan. 27 accepted two audits, approved the 2026–27 district calendar and adopted a package of routine resolutions and consent items in a meeting that also included a student spotlight and two public commenters.
Nigro & Nigro PC presented the district’s 2024–25 annual financial audit and the Measure R (2012) performance audit. The auditor told the board that the annual audit turned up no findings and that the firm issued a “clean audit.” On Measure R, auditors said they tested roughly $12,900,000 — about 78% of that fund’s expenses — and found no internal control findings or questionable expenses. “There were no findings, and we actually issued the district a clean audit,” the auditor reported.
