Trustees also adopted a set of resolutions recognizing community priorities: declaring March 2026 as National School Breakfast Week and Nutrition Month; proclaiming March 2, 2026 as Red Cross Variant Day; designating March as National Music in Our Schools Month; recognizing March as National Women’s History Month; and proclaiming March as School Social Work Week. Board members offered brief remarks in support of each resolution; one trustee thanked the district’s nutrition staff for providing free meals to students during the school year and breaks.
The board approved the consent calendar (all listed consent items passed with no items pulled) by voice vote.
