Planning director Jean to retire in April after 14 years

Planning director Jean announced to the City of Parkland Planning & Zoning Board that she will retire in April. Jean told the board April 2 will be her last day and said she has “put my 14 years in” and is ready to retire.
Planning staff and board members congratulated Jean on her service and noted the next meeting will be her final meeting before retirement. Director Caitlin Forbes and other board members discussed a busy upcoming schedule for the planning department and thanked Jean for her years of service.
This personnel change will take effect April 2; the board will continue its scheduled meetings through March and into the spring as planning staff transitions.
