The Bonita Unified School District Board unanimously approved a second amendment to the joint-use agreement with the City of San Dimas to convert one tennis court at the San Dimas Sportsplex into four pickleball courts.
A city representative described the conversion and said the City of San Dimas will absorb the cost of converting the existing tennis court to four pickleball courts for shared use by the schools and the community. Board members thanked city staff, including the city manager and assistant city manager named in the presentation, for leading the work.
The board moved, seconded and approved the item by voice vote. Trustees said the conversion responds to growing pickleball demand while maintaining access for students and community users at the Sportsplex.
