Edmond council proclaims Neighbors Night Out, appoints Scott McGregor and approves consent items

The council also approved routine general consent items and a resolution (33-24) approving May 30, 2024 amendments to the 1983 amended agreement creating the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG). An applicant for item 10a asked for a continuance to a date certain of Sept. 23, 2024; the council voted to grant the continuance.
The council moved into executive session later in the meeting and reconvened, with the mayor announcing there was no action as a result of the executive session. The meeting concluded with mayoral and council comments about community events and adjournment.
