States Attorney Todd Schwarz presented a Coyote Creek Road Resolution at the July 16 Mercer County Commission meeting. Commissioner Casey Voigt recused himself from the discussion; Coyote Creek Mining representative Jeremy Eckroth was present for the item.
Commissioner Voigt said he would obtain confirmation from the affected landowners that the road be returned to its original configuration. The board placed the item on a special meeting scheduled for July 25, 2025, for further consideration. The minutes do not record a motion to approve or reject the resolution on July 16.
