Committee notes two recent emergency callouts, flags flooded crosswalk near middle school

Vice Chair Jodi Mackay raised a separate operational concern about the crosswalk by the middle school near a recently replaced fire hydrant. "It's a mess," Mackay said, adding that the area "is filling with water and creating huge puddles," a condition that could pose a hazard to pedestrians.
