Bland County supervisors enter executive session over administrator applicant, certify meeting and adjourn

Supervisor Randy Johnson made the motion to enter executive session under Virginia Code §2.2-3711(A)(1); Supervisor Keith Costello seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
After the closed session the board returned to open session on a motion by Supervisor Stephen Kelley, seconded by Supervisor Randy Johnson; that motion also passed unanimously. The board then voted to adopt the Certification of Executive Meeting required by Virginia Code §2.2-3712. Supervisor Keith Costello moved adoption, Supervisor Randy Johnson seconded, and a roll-call vote recorded Mr. Costello, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Kelley and Mr. Kidd as "yea."
Before adjourning, the board took a final procedural vote to end the meeting. Supervisor Stephen Kelley moved to adjourn; Supervisor Randy Johnson seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The meeting minutes were signed by Adam Kidd, chairman, and Eric Workman, clerk of the board.
