Garfield County commissioners approve Drug Court funding, payroll claims and declare multiple items surplus

Vice‑Chairman Reese Wedel moved the funding actions; the minutes record Aye votes by Maly and Wedel during a portion of the meeting when Commissioner Joe Kegin Jr. was absent, and later motions show unanimous Aye votes after his return.
The board approved payroll-related claims and warrants, including a record line for Warrant #2411–2668 described as “Total Payment for County Share of Benefits” in the amount of $246,975.85. The minutes list numerous purchase orders and vendor claims across county departments and approved blanket purchase orders that exceeded encumbrances (examples recorded in the minutes include Southern Tire PO #2485 for $236.60 and Amazon PO #2475 for $93.03).
