Councilmember Sam Seifert praised the hall as a community resource and suggested Henderson could develop an identity as a city of the arts. Councilmember Garry D. Daeke characterized the presentation as a funding request to be considered during the budget process.
The presentation was recorded in the minutes; no vote on funding was taken at this meeting. The council later proceeded to other agenda items including formal resolutions and a zoning decision.
