Oneida County Land Records Committee forwards foreclosures, survey contracts and WLIP grants to County Board

At its Jan. 13 meeting the Oneida County Land Records Committee unanimously approved forwarding several routine resolutions, contracts and grant agreements to the County Board.

The committee voted to forward a resolution to convey tax-foreclosed parcels (CA-48-2, HA-48, MI-2211-6, NE-537, RH-2632-1, SU-1424-2) that had received bids at the December 2025 meeting; the item was forwarded as part of the consent agenda. It also approved forwarding a separate resolution to convey parcel MI-2406-3 (Town of Minocqua; part of the SENE, Section 28; T39N; R6E) to the Town of Minocqua for right-of-way purposes.

Committee members approved continuing two professional survey contracts for 2026 with A.R. Jones Land Surveying and Cardinal North Land Surveying to use Wisconsin Land Information Program (WLIP) Strategic Initiative grant funds for USPLSS corner restoration and GPS work. The Land Information Office also approved payment of the TTech 2026 annual software maintenance agreement for the Ascent Land Records and Permit Management suites and directed the invoice and purchase order to Information Technology Systems for final payment.

The committee authorized Chair Robert Briggs to sign WLIP grant agreements — a $20,000 Strategic Initiative grant and a $25,464 Base Budget grant from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue — and to forward the documents to County Board Chair Scott Holewinski for signature. The committee recorded motions and seconders for each item and recorded "all ayes" on the actions taken during the meeting.
