Commission approves abatements, financial statements, bills and a public-health board reappointment

During routine business on Feb. 6 Nelson County commissioners approved several administrative items including tax abatements, financial statements and bills, and reappointed a member to the public-health board.
Michelle Linstad, Tax Director, presented abatements and corrections for a list of parcels (parcel numbers recorded in the minutes). The commission voted to approve the abatements as presented. Commissioners reviewed and approved financial statements for January and subsequently approved the bills as presented.
Commissioner Steve Forde was reappointed to the Nelson County Public Health Board. Auditor Nathan Parks and States Attorney Jayme Tenneson participated in overarching county updates.
