Resident asks Camp Verde council to add stop signs and repair exterior lights near Council Chambers

At the Nov. 13 special session a resident said a missing left‑turn sign at Hollamon and 7th streets creates safety concerns and asked the town to install stop signs, trim brush and repair lights outside the Council Chambers.
Resident Charlotte Salsman told the Town Council on Nov. 13 that she is concerned about traffic and visibility at 7th Street and Hollamon Street, where she said there is no left‑turn sign for westbound traffic to turn south onto 7th Street.
"I would like to see four stop signs installed at the location," Salsman said, and she urged that surrounding brush be trimmed to improve sight lines. She also requested repairs to the exterior lights outside the Council Chambers to improve safety and visibility.
The council did not take action on the public comment during the session; state law prevents council members from taking substantive action on items not on the posted agenda. Council members may ask staff to review the matter or place it on a future agenda for consideration.
