Fulton County commissioners approve SFPP sub‑agreement, payables and routine departmental requests

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 10, 2026 approved a Sub‑Agreement with the Fulton County Food Basket, Inc. to administer the State Food Purchase Program (SFPP) now routed through the county, and completed several routine administrative approvals including accounts payable and travel and procurement requests.
Food Basket Director Sue Cubbage told commissioners that state SFPP funds now come directly to the county rather than to the Food Basket; because of that change the county must be named administrator through a Sub‑Agreement. Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve and execute the Sub‑Agreement; the minutes record that the motion passed unanimously.
The board approved accounts payables dated Feb. 3, 2026 totaling $91,872.06. The clerk recorded fund‑level details: Fund 100 General Fund $75,212.91; Fund 227 SFC Technology Grant $153.17; Fund 231 SFC Evidence Based Practice $492.80; Fund 235 Law Library $172.69; Fund 238 911 $2,546.01; Fund 256 Domestic Relations $794.48; Fund 300 Capital Projects $12,500.00.
Other approved items: a travel request for Services for Children Director Christine McQuade to attend the Chief Justice Max Baer's Children's Roundtable Summit April 22–24, 2026 in Hershey, Pa.; a Citgo tire quote for four new tires at $640.00 for a Services for Children vehicle to pass inspection; and a Certification Statement for the fourth quarter of 2025 submitted by Services for Children Fiscal Technician Stephanie Mellott. Commissioners adjourned at 11:20 a.m.
The meeting also included a demonstration of the Chief 360 Mobile system for fire and EMS by McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Chief Pete Lynch and EMA/911 Director Brian Barton; the minutes note the demonstration but record no procurement action at this session.
