Mayor Robert A. Wills opened the meeting, led roll call and presented a proclamation recognizing RIDEYELLOW. The proclamation was presented to Kenneth Breal and Debbie Clark of North Baldwin Infirmary.
In routine business the council approved the consent agenda, which included minutes from the Sept. 6 meeting and work session, and approved payables totaling $91,587.49.
On ordinances, the council approved Ordinance 1009 on second reading. The body also approved Ordinance 1012, an amendment to Ordinance 976 to reflect a five‑year adjustment to municipal business license issuance fees; both measures passed unanimously.
