Nelson County tables LEC Joint Powers Agreement and sheriff vehicle bill pending more information

Chairman Cody Johnson raised the updated LEC Joint Powers Agreement but noted that the updated version had not been provided to the commission; the board agreed to table further discussion until the revised agreement is available. Later in the meeting the commission discussed a bill for a new sheriff vehicle; Chief Sheriff Deputy Jesse Madche joined by phone to provide details, and the board tabled the bill to gather more information before voting.
Both items were recorded as tabled in the minutes; no votes to approve either item were taken at the Jan. 16 meeting.
