Commission approves Golden Lake Acres liquor license and hears update on Golden Lake store transition

Finley, N.D. — The Steele County Commission approved a 2018 liquor license for Golden Lake Acres and received an update on the Golden Lake store transition during a March 27 special meeting.
Commissioner Richard Strand moved and Commissioner Ted Johnson seconded a motion to approve the Golden Lake Acres liquor license signed March 6, 2018. The motion carried with the members present voting yes.
Auditor Emily Wigen provided an update on the store transition and presented photos of needed repairs, including vent cleaning, replacement of the patio door and repair of a hole in the ceiling. Wigen told the board that new flooring would be installed in the next couple of days and that the interior would be painted thereafter. The board noted that Dickson will attend the Park Board meeting next week to coordinate related matters.
No further formal actions were taken on the store transition at the meeting. The commission adjourned following the discussion.
