Ness reviewed current open positions and options for how social services are provided in Steele County. The commission agreed to give the board extra time to evaluate options and requested that Kim Jacobson, Traill County social service director, meet with the social service board next week to discuss possible arrangements.
No formal action to change service arrangements or hire staff was taken at the meeting; the item was continued so the social service board can meet with Jacobson and report back.
