Representatives from Occupational Services Inc., The Arc of Franklin/Fulton Counties, Full Circle Residence, Fulton County Human Services and other local organizations attended the signing and posed for a group photograph with the commissioners.
The proclamation language included the community-focused phrase 'One World, many Abilities!' and the board recorded unanimous approval. The commissioners directed recognition of the month as a community observance; no formal funding or policy change was recorded.
