Emergency Manager Ben Gates presented two quotes for interior and exterior courthouse cameras and estimated a project cost of about $5,900 through Electro Watchman. Commissioner Strand moved and Commissioner Ted Johnson seconded to authorize Gates to proceed with the camera purchase; the motion passed unanimously.
The actions formalize both project planning and initial security investments. The county will proceed with project engineering work and procurement of the camera system; the bathroom project timeline will depend on final grant paperwork and procurement steps.
