Two residents used the non-agenda public comment period at the June 12 meeting to urge the Henderson City Council to act on homelessness.
Whitney Gulley, who identified herself as currently homeless and said she is a house supervisor at Lifeline Ministries, said her son was introduced and she concluded by saying families are being broken apart because of homelessness. Joshua Daniels said communities should “stand together as a people” and asked the council to help with homelessness.
Council did not provide a formal response during the public comment period; the remarks were recorded under public comment on non-agenda items.
